Additive manufactured implants: Top quality assurance challenges

Thursday, 23rd February 2023 | 01:00 - 02:00 PM (CET)

Join us as we host a roundtable to discuss the latest trends in metrology for additive manufactured implants and answer your questions about measurement.

Additive manufacturing of medical implants offers numerous advantages compared to conventional manufacturing. For instance, implants can be produced patient-specific to optimize functionality, tolerability, healing processes and durability. In addition, manufacturers benefit from rapid prototyping and material savings.

However, the modified production process requires adapted quality assurance processes. In-process control, for example, takes on a special role. At our virtual round table, we’ll bring together experts from different disciplines to discuss the leading challenges of quality assurance in the additive manufacturing of implants. You are welcome to be a part of the discussion and ask your questions live.
