Comparative Diagrams
Comparative diagrams are a collection of mostly schematic micrographs. Certain characteristics have been assigned to each comparative diagram. These change gradually from image to image and may relate to the grain size, carbide precipitation in a steel or the quality of the preparation. Comparative diagrams allow you to compare samples under the microscope interactively.

The AxioVision Comparative Diagrams module enables you to compare your micrographs with comparative diagrams on screen. This replaces the previous method involving the use of comparative diagram charts.

It is up to you how the images are displayed on the screen: you can decide whether you wish to compare the micrograph with one or several comparative diagrams.

In addition, the module also contains a wizard which you can use to generate your own comparative diagrams quickly and conveniently.
